Pre-planning FAQs

Does pre-planning lock in pricing?

Pre-planning does not automatically pre-pay or lock in prices. However, it does allow you to select specific merchandise and services that can be pre-funded if you choose — protecting your family from future price increases. Ask us about pre-funding options during your consultation.

Can I change my plan after it is filed?

Yes. You may update your pre-arrangement at any time at no charge. Life circumstances change, and your plan should reflect your current wishes. Simply call us and we will arrange an update meeting.

What if I pass away outside of Nashville?

We coordinate transfers from across Tennessee and beyond. If you have pre-arranged with us and pass away while traveling or living elsewhere, your family calls us and we manage the transfer and all arrangements exactly as planned.

Is pre-planning only for older adults?

Not at all. Many families in their 30s and 40s pre-arrange because they understand the gift it gives their loved ones. There is no minimum age, and it is never too early to have the conversation.

What is "Talk of a Lifetime"?

"Talk of a Lifetime" is a guided conversation we offer families — not about death specifically, but about life stories, values, and wishes. It helps families understand what truly mattered to their loved one, and often forms the foundation of a meaningful service.
